Members of the Workers Organizing Committee of Chicago voted to join a national fast food workers strike planned for May 15. Organizers plan to hold strikes in at least 150 cities and also hope to make the event global.
Recently, American fast food workers say they want a national minimum wage of at least $15. Fast food workers in Chicago have recently held strikes and protests in the past in a movement they call Fight for 15.
