Illinois voters will be able to vote in November whether they think the state should raise minimum wage from $8.25/hr to $10, thanks to a new Illinois referendum on ballots. But supporters of the wage hike can take a pledge to vote, now.
The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) set up a webpage for voters to sign a pledge card to vote yes on the minimum wage referendum.

The city is also working to raise Chicago’s minimum wage to $13, despite the turnout of the Illinois vote.
