Transgender people are human. That’s the message local transgender equality advocates want to send targeted regions across Chicago.
The TransLife Center at Chicago House unveiled 10 billboards Thursday around Chicago’s South and West Sides. The ads are brightly colored with the words “She’s just walking, not working”–a reference to transgender rights and discrimination cases around the country.
